Please note: The following Rules and Regulations are subject to change.

1. Variety Sports Club does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
2. Variety Sports Club is for members only! No additional family members or guests are permitted to be present during activities- unless they are official members. 
3. The Board of Sareva, L.L.C. will set the membership capacity- if need be.
4. To apply and participate, applicants and members must be, at least, 18 years old and a resident of New Hanover county.
5. All applicants must complete and submit a "Membership" enrollment form, sign a "Release of Liability" waiver, and provide a copy of ACTIVE medical insurance and VALID (unexpired) I.D.- prior to obtaining membership. *Failure to submit any of these will result in rejection of membership.
6. All members must have their own transportation to activity sites- as Variety Sports Club (nor Sareva, L.L.C.) will be providing transportation- unless otherwise stated.
7. After the first year of (FREE) membership, all members will be required to pay a yearly $60 membership fee- in addition to paying required fees for activities they wish to participate in. *Membership fee continually reserves a member's spot in Variety Sports Club, as well as, cover annual background check.
8. Members will be required to undergo a background check, annually. *If any member is found to possess a felony or misdemeanor, he/she/they may lose membership. The Board of Sareva, L.L.C. will base their decision on stringency of the matter. Any employee of Sareva, L.L.C., who undergoes a background check for employment, will not be required to apply for a second background check for admittance into Variety Sports Club- if a Variety Sports Club application is submitted within one-year of hire date.Employees will be required to undergo additional annual background checks.
9. Members are required to wear Variety Sports Club tops, as well as, appropriate athletic shorts/pants and closed-toe sneakers- unless otherwise stated. *Attire containing inappropriate words, phrases, or graphics is prohibited. 
10. The use of loud and intimidating words; profanity and other inappropriate speech is prohibited. 
11. Members can cancel their membership at anytime; however, are not permitted to freeze, pause, or transfer membership.
12. Failure to participate in, at least, two months of activities may result in cancellation of membership to permit others to opportunity to join. *Please notify the Director of Variety Sports Club- if a leave of absence is required in order to retain membership.
13. The Board of Sareva, L.L.C. reserves the right to suspend or expel any membership for unacceptable behavior or conduct or for failure to abide to the rules and regulations of Variety Sports Club.
14. All fees are non-refundable- unless otherwise stated. 
15. No pets allowed. *Service animals are welcomed- as long as they follow in accordance to U.S. law.
16. Smoking- including electronic cigarettes, is prohibited in indoor/outdoor facilities and around other members.
17. All music-playing and other portable devices must be used with head-phones and set at a volume that does not disturb others.  
18. Cell phones should be kept on vibrate.  
19. Photography, to include “Selfies”, is prohibited in the following areas: Locker Rooms and Restrooms.
20. Variety Sports Club reserves the right to use, for any purpose whatsoever and without compensation, any photographs, videos, audio tapes, or other recordings that are made at any of its functions.
21. For advertising purposes, winners of our competitions will be required to, at least, allot the sharing of their (first and last) name for our online champion board. 
22. Food and beverages in open containers may be restricted in facilities. 
23. Members will be required to have their own health insurance. *Variety Sports Club will not be responsible for any injuries occurred that are not of any fault of its own.
24. Team captains for athletic and mind sport activities will be selected by draw of names. They will the power to select other members to join their team, as well as, determine an appropriate name for their team. *No member is to be selected more than once for captain- unless all members have been given an opportunity to serve. A member may reject the role of captain- if desired.
